This film takes you behind the scenes during a dramatic upswing in the career timeline of artist Hernan Bas, from the 29-year old's highly regarded 10-year survey show at the Rubell Family Collection during Art Basel Miami Beach to his opening at New York's Brooklyn Museum on his 31st birthday. Scenes include detailed action of the painter at work, with revealing commentary about the creative process, and the business of producing, placing and sustaining work in a volatile market.
